Tribes COLLECTION

Precious legacy for the tribes for the next 75 years

Amsterdam Sauer marks its 75-year anniversary presenting a collection which deals with historical traditions and heritage and, at the same time, offers originality and innovation in design and gemstone faceting.

Inspiration

The pieces play with the colors of the gemstones, reminding the feathers adornments of the Indians, in contrast with the yellow gold geometrically and sculpturally shaped.
Tiger-eye, malachite and albite are among the main gemstones of this collection, in which they are sculptured in several shapes. The albite, whose light color is composed of ivory, sand and off white hues, represents fangs, teeth and bones. The tiger-eye makes jewelry inspired by the masks and tribal shields – its natural pattern evokes wood in color and texture. The malachite, besides printing naturally the jewels with its green hues, also represents nature, the forests and the patterns of the insects’ exoskeleton.
